A Job Placement Specialist

I discovered a web site that claims to be a job placement service for truck drivers and companies. It looked like a good idea so I gave them a call. I was told that they have associated themselves with many of the carrier companies and can help me get a good driving job. First, if you have been out for more than 6 months the carriers will only consider you if you go through a refresher course at a school. That's 40 hours and costs around $1300 plus food and hotel. I believe it and can understand it. The carriers are in the 'drivers seat' right now as far as being picky about who they hire. I am tentatively set to go to a school that does refresher training on April 6.

I can't say for sure because I am just starting the process, but this seems like a good outfit. If you need help with a truck driving career you can check out TRUCKING CAREERS OF AMERICA . This is not a endorsement. It's what I am doing do get back on track. I believe it will work for me.
