Wow, its 125 degrees in this little Austin Texas truck stop as I type this. I won’t get any 'no idle' points tonight.
I left Trenton OH on Wednesday and drove through to a rest area in Forrest City Arkansas, 622 miles. My route took me through Cincinnati OH, Louisville KY, Nashville TN and Memphis TN.
This morning I left early and got fuel in North Little Rock AR and pushed on to Dallas TX. My customer was almost in down town Dallas. It didn’t take long to unload ther,e so I got out in good time and made it the 200+ miles down to Austin TX to finish up with this load.
I’m always amazed by the bridges in Dallas. They really build them big.
Tomorrow I will get instructions telling me where to take this split axle trailer and hopefully be given a good load with enough miles to keep me running for the week end.
